Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and songwriter. Many people know her from her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series "The Goldbergs.' She considers herself to be the best musician of all. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something that she started dabbling at when she was 9 years old. At the age of 12, her music took on a serious nature and she began to train professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her first collection of cover songs. From that moment on, she has never been back. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet has Hispanic origins. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and her whole life was in America. To preserve her heritage, she's learned Spanish and composed songs in that language. One of her songs was an original Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first season of The X Factor. Orrantia got selected from the submission of a YouTube video submission and received 4 "yes" vote from the jury at the time of live auditions in Seattle, Washington. Although she originally auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week" She, along with three female performers were placed into a group for the rest of auditions. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
