Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, actress and songwriter. The most famous of her roles can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, an American comedy show. However, she's primarily a music lover. According her, is first thing she enjoys. She began playing with the instrument at the age of nine. When she reached the age of 12 her music took more serious form and she began professional training. The year 2013 saw her take up songwriting and recorded her first album. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking solely English and was never in Mexico she's very happy about her Hispanic culture. Through studying Spanish and composing songs, she is trying to keep the culture alive. She has recorded an Spanish version of a track called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was awarded the X Factor's four "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage after getting selected based on her YouTube video submission. Although she originally auditioned in a single performance in "Hollywood Week" She, along with three female performers were put into an ensemble for the remainder of the auditions. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
