Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, songwriter, singer and actress. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the lead singer of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in films and television shows that include How to Be a Single and the show Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. she has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actress. The dance school she attended was St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. At just three, Momsen performed professionally in a Shake and Bake 1997 national television commercial. Momsen went on a career hiatus for three years prior to being cast as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB television show. Momsen also appeared involved in the film Saving Shiloh in 2006. She also auditioned for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three but it was given instead to Miley Cyrus.
