Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and a writer. She is most well known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. The same year, She released Her first album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway as a somber character that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director for popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained in Toronto ever since.
