Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002, has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina Garten began her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget papers. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual stimulation of her job, but eventually, she stopped her enthusiasm. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. It took her 18 years to turn the store into hugely successful, and then sold the store. She then began to write her first cookbook. Many more cookbooks, and magazines columnists that were added. Another hit came from the Food Network Television show. Additionally, she sells items ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and tools. Ina never went to any cookery schools nor was she employed at a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual approach to creating and entertaining. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet with Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
