Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author as well as a model and actress. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired by her upbringing in the New York family of artists. She started as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. Her two first films got noticed and earned her an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. With just three movies, she became the top female box-office star in the entire world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
